We at Light of the Valley Assembly are a gathering of imperfect people from diverse backgrounds striving to be all that God has destined us to be. Having put our trust in Jesus, we work together, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus to our surrounding community.
People young and old, singles and families, committed Christians, and spiritual seekers who are just starting to ask questions about God have all found Light of the Valley their place to believe and belong. Our ministries give opportunity for everyone to participate in fellowship, teaching, and spiritual growth. We are a community that desires to “think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.” [Hebrews 10:24]
Light of the Valley draws people from just about every religious background. You will find us to be not only family-friendly, but also a friendly family! As a guest, you will feel welcome while at the same time remaining as anonymous as you want to be. We invite you to join us for a Sunday morning service; perhaps you too will find our church gathering to be your place to believe and belong.
“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (NLT)
To be in a relationship with Jesus is an adventure! We desire to build a firm foundation of biblical truth in the hearts of children and encourage development of a personal relationship with Jesus in the their daily lives. We consider children to be part of our family where the fruits of the spirit are encouraged within an adventurous and fun learning environment.
LOTV Kids is held weekly including communion Sundays, the first week of the month, when children remain in the service with their families. Craft boxes are always available for use in the service, not only during communion weeks, but also for families who wish to keep their children in the service with them every Sunday.
Ladies Bible study, Thursdays 10:30am-12:00pm.
Men’s Breakfast and Bible study Tuesdays, 7:30-9:00am at Frontier Cafe.
Missions is a high priority at Light of the Valley. We support a number of missionaries both worldwide and local in our efforts to fulfill the command of Mark 16:15 to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Here you will find updates we receive from those who are able to correspond safely.
